The MSX 30 Index measures the performance of the leading and most liquid companies listed on the Muscat Stock Exchange in Oman. Originally launched under the former Muscat Securities Market framework and later renamed following the exchange’s change to Muscat Stock Exchange, it is Oman’s primary equity market benchmark. The index is important for tracking Omani stock market performance, benchmarking portfolios, and representing the investable large/liquid segment of the domestic market.
